As the countdown started for the Superbowl to start, we decided to crack open the first bottle of Barolo.
We knew it would be “young” but nothing could have prepared us for this first tasting.
It sat open for a few minutes while we stared at each other figuring out what we were going to do with this open bottle.
We agreed on trying the aerator to see if we could save the bottle.
It worked! Sort of… It became drinkable but I think we’ll be holding off for another month and a half. Until then!
